COLLEGE OF ANIMAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The College of Animal Science and Technology was established in 1917, making it one of the earliest providers of animal husbandry education in China. COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
Situated in Pukou, the College of Engineering benefits from a multidisciplinary approach with research covering a broad range of topics. COLLEGE OF FINANCE
Founded in October 2012, the College of Finance developed from the faculty of finance and accounting within the College of Economics and Management. Despite this relatively recent establishment, NAU’s research in this area began in the 1920s, when Professor John L. Buck began his work on crop insurance. In 1985, it became the first university in Jiangsu province to recruit students in finance, and has since developed a range of postgraduate and undergraduate programs.

COLLEGE OF FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The College of Food Science and Technology evolved from the department of agricultural products and manufacturing established in 1902 at the National Central University. COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE
NAU is the birthplace of grassland science in China. Professor Dong Wang and his collaborators made seminal contributions to the field in the 1950s and other leading authorities on the subject, such as Jizhou Ren, studied at NAU under his instruction. COLLEGE OF HORTICULTURE
Established in 1921, the College of Horticulture is the earliest department of its kind in China. Its predecessors, the departments of horticulture at Central National University and Jinling University, made great contributions to the development of the modern discipline. It now offers five bachelors programs, six masters programs, and six doctoral programs. It also houses a post-doctoral research station in horticulture, while vegetable science is a national key discipline.

COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences consists of six departments (history of science and technology, sociology, tourism management, law, cultural management, and arts) offering five bachelors programs, five masters programs, and one doctoral program. The College is home to the Institute for Chinese Agricultural Civilization as well as four research centers, and it also publishes the quarterly journal ‘Agricultural History of China’.

COLLEGE OF INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The College of Information Science and Technology offers three bachelors programs, three masters programs, and one doctoral program. COLLEGE OF RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES
The College of Resources and Environmental Sciences has its roots in the soil science discipline of the agronomy department at the former Southeast University, and now offers fourteen different programs. With an annual research budget in excess of 50 million yuan, the College also houses two post-doctoral research stations. In the past five years, faculty members have chaired or participated in more than 160 research projects and published about 90 SCI papers every year in international journals

COLLEGE OF VETERINARY MEDICINE
Established in 1921 and regarded as one of the top veterinary colleges in China, the College of Veterinary Medicine offers nine programs at all degree levels. The College consists of three departments and holds a national key discipline.
